The Ridgemont Montessori School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or national origin.

Enrollment is on the basis of application and interview.

Eligibility: Ridgemont is open to children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years. A child may be enrolled in the Toddler class at the age of 18 months. The Primary classes are relatively small and are comprised of children between the ages of two and a half to six.

Application Process: The application process begins when you call for an information packet or visit our website to learn more about the programs we offer at Ridgemont. You can then call the school to make an observation appointment. When you visit the school to observe, we ask that you come without your child so that you can freely watch the work going on in the class without interruption. Upon receiving your application, we will call to schedule a time for you to bring your child in for a visit at a later date. For children applying for September enrollment in any given school year, decisions will be mailed to you in mid-March.

Applications are accepted throughout the year and we will accept new students at any time during the school year if space becomes available. Applications are rolled over into the next school year if we are unable to admit your child when you first apply. Because the Primary Montessori program takes three years to complete, children are usually no considered for enrollment beyond the age of four without prior experience in a Montessori classroom.
